Marvel Studios has released official photos of the four members of The Illuminati appearing on Doctor Strange in a multiverse of madness. Since the sequel 2016 Dr. Gharib The Marvel Cinematic Universe was sent to the multiverse, and there were some grumblings that fans might be able to see some of their favorite actors from non-Marvel Studios movies, like Wolverine and Deadpool. Instead of getting the famous X-Men characters, fans at least got Patrick Stewart’s Charles Xavier back. While the leader of the X-Men does not appear in Doctor Strange in a multiverse of madness In pictures, we can see four of his Illuminati teammates.
“The Illuminati will see you now. “Try Marvel Studios #DoctorStrange in the multiverse of Madness now playing in theaters only!” reads a tweet from the Marvel Studios Twitter account. The tweet includes photos of Baron Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor), Captain Carter (Hayley Atwell), Captain Marvel (Lashana Lynch), and Black Bolt (Anson Mount). These four Earth-838 heroes weren’t the only Illuminati members who appeared in it Dr. Gharib 2. We have already mentioned Charles Xavier, but perhaps the most surprising hero is Reed Richards from the Fantastic Four, portrayed by John Krasinski.

The film showed an empty Illuminati chair in the group’s secret compound, as fans were arguing over who the chair might have been intended for. Since the Strange Supreme (Benedict Cumberbatch) was once part of the Illuminati before Black Bolt killed him, some believe it was left open to him. Others suggest that it was left to a character that has yet to be introduced.
multiverse Writer Michael Waldron has been busy on a press tour after the release, and recently was asked the question of who the chair belongs to. As you might expect, the writer was not able to confirm or deny the correct character to which the seat belonged.
